It has been a long journey since ‘Bangla band’ concept took birth with Mohiner Ghoraguli in the 1970’s. Down three decades, the face of Bengali music has transformed in a big way. From the early 1990’s there have been a complete transformation and Bengali bands have become the voice of modern youth.
Aamar 106.2 FM brings to you AAMAR BAND SHOWCASE every Saturday at 10pm where established and new bands share their experiences. Bands which have made a significant mark in the Bengali music scenario speak about their struggling years, their music and also give tips to upcoming bands. Whereas, the new bands speak about their experiences, their live shows and their future endeavors.
